Using an essay from Alexander Lawson's Anatomy of a Typeface, margins and a grid system had to be selected. From here, column width, leading, and type size was chosen. Image research was then conducted to aid in the designing of this multi-column editorial. Clarendon, also known as the "circus font", is a font used on children's building blocks, reward / wanted signs, highway signs, as well as for some company logos like Wells Fargo and Starbucks.
